What will Donald Trump Do Next?
Donald Trump is a ratings machine. What will he do, now that he is out of office? Could he launch his own cable news network?
If he launches his own network, then he will reach millions of viewers. That's a no brainer.
Although not perfect, he could push a powerful narrative that goes against the globalist, central planners like the Great Reset Agenda and the Chinese Belt And Road Initiative.
Is A Trump News Network feasible?
Short answer: Yes, and the data backs it up. The following chart displays the average views per hour for Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC from the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2020.
A lot of people believe CNN hates Donald Trump, but George will assure you that top executives love him. Nothing has ever been better for their ratings than Donald Trump, Covid-19, and the 2020 presidential elections.
CNN's average views per hour went from 600,000 to almost 1.2 million, a massive increase in their ad revenue. The more outlandish Trump becomes the greater their rating increases.
If you multiply 600,000 by 24 hours, you can see that CNN has a median of 14.4 million viewers.
To put things in perspective, if you hop on over to youtube and visit MrBeast, one today's most famous YouTubers, you see that he has a daily view count of 16.2 million on his youtube channel. Two million more than CNN in 2019. How crazy is that?
What are the odds of a Trump News Network becoming reality?
Trump is not going anywhere. He is not the type of person that retires and goes to Florida to live stress-free. He is a hyper-competitive man that strives for more, every day.
First ego, then fame, and now power. Donald Trump wants power, and there is only one thing that gives a person more power than being the president of the United States of America and that is being your own media mogul.
On a recent Macro Voices Podcast, Dr. Pippa Malmgren, an economist who served under the George W Bush administration believes that Trump's fully aware of the advantages at his fingertips. Owning a multi-channel media network can be more powerful than sitting in the oval office.
Trump comes from a television background, so he gets the game and how it works. Most candidates think they might have a shot at the presidency but they're not banking on winning, in his case he was just trying to raise his viewership to reinvigorate his television audience. Then he won, and what better platform than the White House itself. He understands that having the Trump News Network, a true media platform across multiple channels and types of content is vastly more powerful than sitting in the oval office.
What If Trump News Network Won?
If the media conglomerate pans out, then it would be driving the narrative Make America Great Again (MAGA). This would mean an anti-China, Made In The USA, and a trade war narrative.
You may think it’s a great idea to increase manufacturing on American soil, and it is, however, it’s not as easy as it sounds.
Taxes and regulations will go up with the Biden administration and it would take at least ten years before we had enough factories that could meet demand in the United States.
Cutting out Chinese imported goods sounds great but it would likely increase consumer prices and drag the United States into a trade war.
Massive Deficit Spending
Another component of Trump's narrative would be massive deficit spending. Trump has no problems spending money.
Even though the Trump administration appeared to support free markets, its policies promoted a bigger Government.
The US debt increased $5 trillion under the first four years of the Trump government. After the pandemic hit the World, an additional $10 trillion was added to the debt. A rise of 50%.
In comparison, it took the US 240 years to reach $18 trillion in debt.
Given this scenario, the other plausible narrative promoted by the network would be low-interest rates and money printing. Then the Fed could come in and do their thing: monetizing government debt.
Should these storylines click into the mainstream, we could experience:
- Downward pressure on the dollar compared to goods and services (price inflation).
- Greater divisiveness that boosts social unrest, “domestic terrorism”, and racism.
- Higher Misery Index. It would increase the CPI and structural unemployment rate in the long term.
However, there is a silver lining. The Trump News Network would stand against the great reset agenda, and that is something we should all approve of.
